the cabin filter for this Saab you are looking at is 13 years old! They informed me for most of their cars life they took it to a local dealership (not A Saab dealership ) for service. They brought their Saab to me for service and after evaluating the car it needed not only a cabin air filter but it also needed a serpentine belt replaced and engine air filter

replaced. I called the customer and they told me to replace the maintenance items as needed. When they came to pick up the car and pay the bill they questioned the price of the oil and filter change service and why the price was higher than when they brought it to have it serviced elsewhere. I informed them that their vehicle is equipped with a turbo charger and the vehicle required to use synthetic oil only. They told me that they never used synthetic oil in their Saab! I informed them that I will only use fluids specified by the manufacture, unless otherwise requested not to by the customer. Using conventional oil in an engine with a Turbo charger will shorten the life of the turbo and at the same time empty your wallet when you have to replace it.

So all these years of $25.00 oil changes you can see by the dirty cabin air filter alone you get what you pay for. Make sure you know what you are getting for your money up front. Don’t find out the hard way!
